The challenge is free to enter

Teams can consist of 1 - 5 people
•
Teams that compete must be willing to travel to UC Berkeley on Dec 4 if they proceed to finals
•
The pitch deck should be between 10-15 slides
•
Every person can only be a part of one team
•
UC Berkeley students must register with their berkeley emails
•
All people enrolled in the challenge are automatically enrolled for the conference
•
Equal shares of the prize money will be paid individually to all members of the team
•
Only startups that have raised less than $1 million are eligible
•
Teams must disclose any funding already received at the time of registration
•
Teams must not have accepted any equity funding (e.g., venture capital (VC), Angel, or other dilutive funding) for the idea being presented. In other words, the team cannot have sold equity to anyone outside the team – including non-managing founders. This includes convertible notes and Simple Agreements for Future Equity (“SAFEs”)
•
Teams must not have accepted non-equity external funding in excess of $100,000. Non-equity funding includes prizes, grants, donations from friends and family, and bank loans
